Turps (Banana) - Issue 22
Turps is a publication about painting written by painters. Partly because art criticism is not a science and because they believe good painting is not driven by ideological principles, Turps does not carry a singular position or attitude about painting, but is as open as possible, in order to allow dialogues to develop.
Issue twenty two contains Giuseppe Marasco catting to Dexter Dalwood, Congo the Companzee, Roy Oxlade, Sargy Mann and Bonnard, Annibale Carracci's The Butcher's Shop, Vieira de Silva and Peter Saul in France among others.
